Discipleship

Making disciples of all the nations

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.  Matthew 28:19-20

Preaching

Faithful preaching is an exposition of God’s Word, opened up in all its gospel glory, drawing us into the drama of redemption in which all of God’s people meaningfully participate. In faithful preaching, we explain and apply God’s Word so that we have, and grow in, a true knowledge of God and of ourselves.

Sunday School

We believe in the importance of Christian education. In his letter to the Colossians, the Apostle Paul wrote, “Him we proclaim, warning everyone and teaching everyone with all wisdom, that we may present everyone mature in Christ. For this I toil, struggling with all his energy that he powerfully works within me.” (Colossians 1:28–29)

We believe Christian education is critical to maturing in Christ.

  • Adult Sunday School: We offer an adult Sunday school class at 9:15am prior to our Sunday morning worship service. Our lessons series cover a range of topics including studies of biblical books, Reformed doctrine, and the Christian life.
  • Children’s Sunday School: Sunday School classes for children are also held at 9:15am. We use resources from Great Commission Publication.

Bible Studies

Bible studies exist to equip the congregation of Redeemer to lead compelling and effective lives of faith in their families, relationships, workplaces, and community. The following events are some of the ways we accomplish this goal.

  • Men’s Bible Study: We encourage men to participate in our men’s bible study group to provide a place for men to grow in deeper understanding of the Scripture, allow friendships to develop and provide an opportunity to pray for one another. Men’s Bible Study meets Wednesday evening at 7pm in the church fellowship hall. Calendar
  • Women’s Bible Study:  Designed to lead women to the heart of God where you will come to know God’s love, grow in your relationship with God, and find many opportunities to serve and enjoy friendships with other women. You are invited to join a community of women who will encourage, support, and challenge you to grow in your faith. Women’s Bible Study meets Thursday morning at 9am in the church fellowship hall. Pastoral Theology Studies

The purpose of this group is that the congregation would have solid Biblical & Reformed materials to think upon during the month, and then gather to discuss our questions, comments, insights, implications, and applications to mutually encourage each other in our Christian walk. Rev. Josh McKamy discusses topics from an assortment of podcasts and articles posted monthly. If you would like to attend, please engage with what you find interesting and have time for.  Pastoral Theology Studies meets on the 2nd Sunday evenings starting at 6pm the the church. Calendar
